Position : Construction & Design Associate
Location : Denver, CO
Overview :
Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of transactional or contract experience involving construction projects to join its Construction & Design Practice Group in Denver. This role will focus on drafting and negotiating a range of project-related agreements for industrial, energy, renewable, residential, and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Draft and negotiate EPC / BOP, cost-plus, fixed-price, CM, professional services, subcontractor, and supply agreements
Advise clients across diverse project types, including :
Energy projects (wind, solar, hydroelectric, and natural gas facilities)
Agricultural, food processing, and industrial facilities
Mining and natural resource developments
Athletic and sports facilities
Manufacturing, R&D, fulfillment, and warehouse projects
General commercial construction matters
Support dispute management and risk mitigation on major construction projects
Qualifications :
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
2-5 years of transactional or contract experience in construction or related projects
Colorado Bar admission (or ability to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills
