About the Position :
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dependable Paraprofessional to support students and educators in a school setting in Worcester, MA . This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Youll work alongside teachers and staff to provide hands-on support in the classroom, particularly for students with special needs.
Responsibilities :
Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and classroom management
Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with IEPs or special needs
Monitor student progress and behavior, reporting observations to the teaching team
Help with daily classroom operations, including preparing materials and organizing activities
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; associates degree or higher preferred
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a passion for education
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
