Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

Location : York, PA 17403 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

Assignment Type : Travel CT / Rad Tech

Clinical Setting : Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Electrophysiology Lab

Start Date : December 22, 2025

End Date : March 23, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (06 : 00 – 16 : 30); 40 hours per week

Weekend / Call : Flexible for weekends and on-call; must stay until last patient is cared for

Charting System : EPIC (EPIC experience required)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2410-$2580

Qualifications for CT / Rad Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar clinical setting

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)

Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system

Strong skills in invasive cardiology procedures and sterile technique

Ability to complete pre-start modules (5-6 hours)

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Comfortable caring for COVID-19 patients as needed

Tobacco and fragrance free facility

Key Responsibilities

Assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures, including complex coronary interventions, VAD / ECMO, TAVR, PFO / ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, ablations, pacemaker / ICD implantation, and more

Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment in the Cath and EP labs

Prepare and recover patients in a 23-bay prep / recovery area

Ensure accurate documentation and patient monitoring throughout all procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care

Float to other clinical units as needed

Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as required
