Machinist

Pay : $25-$30 / hr (based on experience)

Location : Bellwood, IL

Shift : 1st Shift (Full-time, Temp-to-Hire)

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, turret punches, insert punches, and press brakes
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines and tools
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and minimize material waste
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety policies

Qualifications :

2+ years in machining or metal fabrication

Physical Requirements :

Protective gear required : safety glasses and steel-toe shoes / boots
