Project Estimator – Responsibilities

In the Litchfield Park area, a company is seeking a Project Estimator to join their team. This role involves estimating material, equipment, labor, and subcontractor costs for commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include reviewing project plans and specifications, analyzing project requirements and scope of work, obtaining quotes from subcontractors, and developing project budgets.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cost estimation and project analysis
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in construction estimating software

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, based on skills, experience, and education. Benefits may include healthcare insurance and paid leave as mandated by law.
