Responsibilities
Excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with business owners and Farmers agents to drive commercial insurance growth. You should have a keen ability to identify customer needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions, including Businessowners Policies, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella coverage. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with agents to streamline workflows and ensure a seamless customer experience. Successful individuals will actively manage the full sales process from prospecting and quoting to closing and servicing while leveraging training from the University of Farmers to enhance sales effectiveness. You should also utilize underwriting support to identify and close preferred business opportunities, and remain current with compliance standards, industry trends, and internal resources.
Requirements
High school diploma, with a bachelors degree preferred. An active insurance license is required, along with Property & Casualty licenses prior to appointment. A working knowledge of the insurance industry, including insurance products, risk management profiles, and relevant state and federal regulations, is essential. You must successfully pass a background check. Proficiency in basic computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office suite, is necessary. Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and analytical skills are also critical for success in this role.
