What you will do:
Assist in the planning design and construction phases of engineering projects.
Conduct field investigations inspections and construction observations under supervision.
Perform engineering calculations data analysis and technical documentation to support project delivery.
Prepare and review technical reports design documents and feasibility studies.
Collaborate with project teams and maintain communication with internal stakeholders.
Utilize digital tools such as Microsoft Office BIM and modeling/analysis software.
Participate in client meetings and site visits as part of professional development.
What you bring:
Bachelors degree from an ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Internship or co-op in a consulting engineering firm preferred but not required.
Foundational understanding of engineering principles and design practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAD BIM and modeling software.
Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Desire to pursue Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and eventual Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
Why MSA
The salary for this position ranges from $62000 to $100185 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
