Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Petersburg, Virginia.

🏥 MS / Tele – Stepdown RN

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Schedule : Every other weekend & major holidays

  • Unit Type : Med / Surg Telemetry (Stepdown)
  • Beds : 30 (bay flex to 37)
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 5–6
  • Patient Population : Post-surgical and trauma (general surgery, smaller ortho, post-trauma)
  • Support Staff : Phlebotomy, 1–2 CNAs / shift, sitters
  • Float : To other med / surg units as needed
  • Scrub Color : Navy blue, white, or combo

    • 💡 Experience / Requirements

  • Experience :

    • 1+ year recent acute care (required)

  • 1 year travel RN experience (required)
  • Surgical experience (preferred)
  • Certifications :

    • BLS (required)

  • ACLS (preferred)
  • Exam : Dysrhythmia test (study guide in Simplify Library)
  • EHR : EPIC (preferred)
