Description
The Operations Manager, under the direct supervision of the Director of Hem Malignancies and Oncology Services and the Medical Director, is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the Bowyer Oncology Clinic.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the development and execution of clinic goals, objectives, and operational strategies.
Oversee administrative functions, staffing, budgeting, and purchasing to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
Monitor daily and financial operations, providing recommendations for improvement and sustainability.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to establish care pathways and support long-term program growth.
Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance patient and staff experiences.
Salary Range : $105,700.00- $234,500.00 / annually
Qualifications
Required :
5+ years of clinic management experience, Oncology preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Reporting experience, including operational and quality metrics
Experience managing team functions, including Human Resources oversight
Experience managing ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) processes
Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify pattern and formulate conclusions
Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
Previous experience in planning, preparing, analyzing and completing revenue and expenses budgets
Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Faculty, Residents, Medical Students and staff from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds
Strong ability to work collaboratively and proactively with medical staff and leadership
Skill in verbal and written communications to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal situations
Ability to creatively integrate competing demands of a multi-specialty setting into a productive working environment
Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health
Working knowledge of research-oriented patient care systems
Working knowledge of University policies and procedures to appropriately manage accounting systems, cashiering, risk management and personnel
Demonstrates a leadership style that builds and maintains a climate of trust and inspires commitment from others to achieve organizational goals
Preferred :
Understands approaches and methods of process improvement and standardization. Lean experience preferred
Master's Degree in Health related field
