Description : Job Summary :
- Maintains documentation in client medical records as required
- Monitors and reviews services in all settings that includes the review of the documentation of all direct care staff / contract providers
- Work with caregivers in the implementation of home-based behavior supports
- Responsible for assuring clinically appropriate assessment, person centered planning and therapeutic interventions are delivered within specific service definition
- Assure clinically appropriate services are delivered to eligible recipients within the service definition.
- Assure that Support Staff operate within their appropriate scope of practice and receive clinical supervision for service delivered.
- Coordinate with quality assurance and quality improvement functions of the agency
- Monitor professional / ethical conduct of direct service staff (includes, but not limited to, confidentiality, client’s rights, appropriate boundaries, etc.).
- Deliver structured and face to face services to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains
- Conduct consumer assessments such as : Clinical Intakes Assessments, and other assessments implemented by DHHS to determine if consumer is appropriate for services.
- Ensure HIPAA / Confidentiality of clients’ information.
- Attends treatment team meetings and other meetings (if applicable)
- Adheres to and follows all policies and procedures of this agency
- Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy
- Knowledge of community resources
- Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately
- Familiarity with the DSM V and diagnostic techniques
- Required Qualifications :
- Demonstrated experience working in the substance abuse / addictions field
- Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) protocol and 12 Step models of recovery
- Candidate must be able to travel to different facilities as needed.
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to engage individuals in treatment according to the program structure and individuals treatment plan in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner.

Master’s degree in human services preferred; other advanced degrees may be consideredLicensed by NC to provide therapy (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, and LCMHCA licensure)Sex Offender Treatment and Youth Sex Offender Treatment is a plus!
