Quality Engineer Senior

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer Sr. to join our team in Littleton, CO, supporting the testing of spacecraft components at our Waterton and Deer Creek facility. As a member of the Integration, Test, and Delivery Quality team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to review test procedures, perform inspections, and execute test line operations.

You will ensure that all test activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and standards. You will review and approve test procedures, evaluate anomalous conditions, and interpret technical requirements to ensure that our spacecraft components meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will drive continuous improvement projects, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our test processes. You will work on a variety of testing activities, including vibration, stress, acoustic, functional, and thermal vacuum testing, and interact with customers as needed to resolve anomalies and become an expert on requirements and specifications. This role will be assigned to the Deer Creek facility and will also have tasking at the Waterton Campus.

Responsibilities

• Review test procedures, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and producibility.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to execute test activities and determine non-conformances.
• Develop subject matter expertise to be a source of knowledge on processes, procedures, and "what right looks like."
• Engage with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across the test area and eliminate quality control issues.
• Coordinate disposition, root cause analysis, and corrective action on nonconforming hardware using electronic documentation systems and investigative skills.
• Work with off shifts, non-standard work weeks, and overtime as needed to complete test campaigns on schedule.
