The Verge is seeking a talented Senior Video Producer to develop and execute our editorial video programming. This is a full-time role that reports to our Supervising Producer - Audio / Video.

They should understand how short and midform video is discovered and consumed.

They will work with a team of producers, directors, journalists, and other craftspeople to create multi-platform, multi-format content across video, audio, and social channels, and also be able to independently execute a project from pitch to script development, shooting, and editing — at the speed of breaking news when necessary.

The Senior Producer will help execute The Verge video’s larger programming strategy, elevate our voice and visual aesthetic, manage deliverables and deadlines, and juggle multiple projects in various production stages with limited resources.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Grace under pressure, strong people skills, integrity, and emotionally intelligent communication
