Overview

Healthcare Consulting Manager - Change Management at Huron. Huron helps healthcare organizations build innovation capabilities and accelerate growth initiatives to deliver better consumer outcomes.

Joining the Huron team means you’ll help our clients evolve and adapt to a rapidly changing healthcare environment and optimize business operations, improve clinical outcomes, and drive engagement across the enterprise. Managers play a vibrant, integral role by leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and partnering with clients to solve their most pressing business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Specialize in areas of expertise while gaining exposure to a breadth of capabilities across the performance improvement practice.
  • Lead client engagements, build long-standing partnerships with clients, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver results aligned with client goals, vision, and mission.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior staff on the engagement team; promote a culture of respect, unity, collaboration, and personal achievement.

Required Skills

  • Effective and efficient organization and planning skills with the proven ability to manage concurrent client engagements, while delegating and overseeing the work of junior team members
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills to synthesize complex data sets and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and trends to implement recommendations resulting in measurable improvement and successful organizational change
  • Impactful written and verbal communication skills; ability to set clear project direction, develop deliverables, escalate risks, and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and client counterparts to understand business challenges and adapt implementation approaches to ensure results align with client objectives
  • Ability to coach and advise staff, leaders and executives within healthcare organizations to drive improvement outcomes
  • Team leadership experience including building talent, training, supervising, coaching / mentoring, and performance management
  • Core Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree required
  • US Work Authorization required
  • Ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs; current average travel in Healthcare practice is less than 50% annually
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Direct supervisory experience
  • 6-8 years of consulting and / or healthcare operations experience
  • Preferred Experience

  • Relevant healthcare operations and / or consulting experience on team-based projects focused on organizational change management
  • Project leadership and workplan management experience with focus on healthcare, culture and / or change management
  • Proven experience coaching and advising senior executives within healthcare
  • Experience with training groups virtually and in person on leadership competencies, engagement tactics and change leadership best practices
  • Compensation and Benefits

    The estimated base salary range for this job is $140,000 - $170,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects pay-for-performance. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $161,000 - $212,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information is provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be updated in the future.
