We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fp&A Analyst Ii to support enterprise-level P&L consolidation and reporting across our Family of Companies. This role will assist in financial analysis, forecasting, KPI reporting, and tool enhancement initiatives, working closely with senior Fp&A team members and cross-functional partners.

Financial Planning Analyst Ii Responsibilities :

  • Support the monthly enterprise P&L consolidation process, collaborating with Finance leads to identifying key drivers of performance across all lines of business.
  • Assist the Lead Fp&A Analyst in analyzing financial results and trends for subsidiary partners.
  • Coordinate the quarterly forecasting and risk and opportunity process, including managing the planning calendar and deliverables.
  • Contribute to KPI reporting and help identify opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities and insights.
  • Participate in reporting tool enhancements, including data validation, quality assurance, and process improvements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis using Oracle Epm, Peoplesoft, and other financial systems.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting and P&L analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, automation).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with Oracle Epm or similar financial planning systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare finance and industry-specific metrics.
  • Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
