Job description

Certification Details

  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP)

Job Details

  • 36 or 48 hours
  • Minimum 1 YEAR CVICU experience REQUIRED (dedicated CVICU staff exp)
  • Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
  • Targeted patient ratios are 1 : 2
  • Must have experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and draw ABGs
  • Travel experience preferred
  • EPIC experience Required
  • Floating and Other Requirements : Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
  • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday
  • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
  • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
  • Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives
  • Unit Details : Working with Tele / drips / vents, typically runs 1 : 2-36 bed units
  • Navy Blue Scrubs

    • Job Requirements

  • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
  • Experience with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and draw ABGs
  • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend / holiday
  • Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer
  • Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application

  • E-Verify required per contract
  • Required if the candidate has a different name on their documents
  • Required if the candidate will be using a Compact Nursing license that differs from the state in which they will be working
  • AHA Only - NON-AHA certifications are only acceptable as placeholder while AHA certifications pending completion
  • Required within 12 months prior to start and must be updated annually even if states good for 2 years on certificate
  • Required for all candidates prior to documentation due date
