Automation Assembly & Service Technician Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Assembly & Service Technician to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will assemble, troubleshoot, and repair automated valve packages, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery. You will also support customer installations, provide technical training, and contribute to process improvements-all in a collaborative environment that values your expertise and dedication.

Automation Assembly & Service Technician Responsibilities :

• Assemble, test, commission, troubleshoot, and repair valve and automation products both in-house and at customer facilities.
• Support and supervise customer installations, startups, and scheduled maintenance.
• Manage assembly inventory, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to customers on automation products.
• Document all work accurately, maintaining detailed records of assemblies, repairs, and service activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, providing timely updates on progress and issues.
• Identify and report product non-conformances, working with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Support professional service programs such as preventive maintenance, retrofits, and refurbishments.
• Travel approximately 20% within the region, with occasional overnight or out-of-state trips for training and service.
