SQL : Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting data. Data Visualization : Ability to present data in a clear and insightful way. Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze business processes, understand data flows, and convert raw data into meaningful reports. Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT teams. Job Description
Must Have Technical / Functional Skills
- Report Development : Create, modify, and maintain reports using tools like Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports to deliver actionable insights to the business.
- Universe Development : Design and build SAP BusinessObjects Universes, which act as a semantic layer to provide a user-friendly interface to complex data sources.
- Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering : Work with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements and specifications.
- Testing and Deployment : Conduct testing (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) to ensure the accuracy and functionality of reports and applications before deploying them to production.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide technical support, resolve issues, and debug problems with BusinessObjects reports and applications.
- Documentation : Maintain and update documentation for the BusinessObjects applications and universes.
