About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist
Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Specialty : RRT
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night
Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)
Experience : 2 years in critical care with 18 months recent ICU experience required
License : IN license required
Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, RRT
Must-Have :
NBRC (RRT) certification required
First Time Travelers Accepted
Description :
The candidate must have the ability to float between multiple facilities.
Candidates should have experience with adult critical care procedures.
Skills include the use of aerosol setups, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and drawing arterial blood gases.
Experience with troubleshooting high pressure alarms, extubation, and airway management is essential.
Knowledge of various respiratory equipment and therapies is required.
The ability to interpret arterial blood gases is necessary.
Candidates must be adaptable to different work environments and patient populations.
Travelers must be able to work two out of three major holidays.
Two supervisor references are required.
Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited.
All travelers are required to comply with floating requirements.
COVID-19 vaccination is not required but flu vaccination is required with medical or religious exemptions only.
