Job description

Shift : 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Description :

  • Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Radiologist to join a hospital-based role within a supportive and collaborative environment at a highly rated medical facility.
  • The position entails approximately % Diagnostic Radiology and % Interventional Radiology (IR).
  • Schedule : No call required, Call Rotation : Every other week until 9 : 45 PM.

Requirements :

  • MT License required (willing to assist with licensing)
  • BE / BC in Radiology
  • EMR System : Meditech
  • Credentialing Timeframe : 30 days

    • Workload & Procedures :

    Diagnostic Imaging Volumes (Monthly) :

  • CT Scans : 253
  • MRI : 90
  • Ultrasound : 165
  • Mammography : 90 (Tomo-trained preferred)
  • Nuclear Medicine : 15 (Cardiolites, Hida, Gastric Emptying, Bone Scans)
  • X-ray : 525
  • Fluoroscopy : 5-10 per month
  • Interventional Radiology : 20 procedures per month

    • Interventional Procedures (Up to Comfort Level) :

  • Biopsies & Drainages : US & CT-guided
  • LPs & Myelograms
  • Thoracentesis & Paracentesis
  • Arthrograms, Joint Aspirations & Injections
  • No dialysis catheter placements, power ports, or ureteral stents required
