Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech. to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Tech., you will be part of the Quality Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Quality Assurance Tech.

Location : Edgewood, MD

Pay Range : $20.00 to $25.00 per hours based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Support plant quality initiatives related to Process and Product Quality.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Supplier Quality, Operations, Warranty, and Design Engineering to reduce quality defects and enhance customer experience.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Engineers with process and product improvement plans.
  • Conduct process and product audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Support internal Corrective Action Reports (CAR) process and quality reporting / escalation.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Above-average analytical skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.
