Job Specifications :

  • Provide In-Home Early Intervention Occupational Therapy Services for ages 0-3 years
  • Service areas include Montclair, Ontario, Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana
  • Flexible schedule : Part-time, Full-time, Mon-Fri, weekend hours can be arranged if desired

Responsibilities :

  • Understand and implement Occupational Therapist's individualized plans of care for each child under your care
  • Conduct therapy sessions to help children achieve their developmental goals
  • Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with therapists, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide parent / caregiver education to support the child's progress
  • Prepare and sanitize therapy materials to provide a safe and clean environment
  • Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to the development of treatment strategies
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance to ensure the privacy of clients and their families
  • Qualifications :

  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist or COTA program
  • Current certification and state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR certified
  • Valid CA driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a therapeutic or educational setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about helping children succeed
