- Inpatient / Outpatient Responsibilities : Outpatient only
- Equipment / Resources : Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resources
- Provider Support : Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities :
Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plansRecommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuriesMonitor lab results and medication adherencePrescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessaryEducate patients and families on procedures, test results, and treatment optionsRefer patients to specialists when neededActively participate in hospital committees and initiativesCollaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient careQualifications :
MD or DO degreeBoard-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related fieldLicensed to practice medicine in the state of CaliforniaProven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settingsExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentDemonstrates the True North values : The True North values are a set of value-based behaviors that are to be consistently demonstrated and role-modeled by all employees at NorthBay Health. Annual Compensation Range : $333,000Supervision : $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APPSigning Bonus : up to $30,000Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd
year) : up to $30,000 per year
