Job descriptionLife on the Palouse feels more urban than rural. Washington State University in Pullman and the University of Idaho in Moscow, less than 10 miles away, bring a diverse population of students and a wide range of world-class art, entertainment, and sporting events. 40 minutes to Costco and 15 minutes to Target. 80 minutes to Spokane, WA when you desire big city amenities.
Seeking an energetic, forward-thinking, board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon (Sports or Total Joint) to join our current practice of four established surgeons. This physician-owned group has provided orthopedic care on the Palouse since 1990, with board-certified surgeons serving Pullman, WA, and Moscow, ID. They support sports medicine for both Washington State University and the University of Idaho, maintaining offices in each city and a surgery center in Moscow.
- Join a well-established team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians in the Pacific Northwest
- $500,000 - $600,000 annually plus incentives
- Partnership opportunity after one year
- Full benefits with sign on bonus, relocation assistance and loan repayment available
- EPIC EMR
- Clinic hours 8 5 pm Monday -Friday
- 32 patient facing hours per week
- Call 1 : 4; includes general orthopedic call
- Hospitalist program assists with limited rounding needs
- Five hospital ORs plus surgery center
- PA and ATC assistance
- Fellowship trained sports medicine family medicine physician available for assistance with non-operative care
- Opportunity to work with medical students and residents,
- PAC- 12 and Big Sky athletic program involvement if desired
- Future leadership role possible
