Dental Hygienist

Provide chair-side assistance to volunteer dentists and other assistance for the successful operation of the dental clinic. These duties may include :

Taking and developing radiographs (x-rays)

Patient charting

Set up and break down of dental rooms

Communicating medication needs to clinic staff

Operation and maintenance of dental equipment including vacuum, pump, sterilizer, x-ray machine, and developer, etc.

Sterilization of dental equipment

Communicate with other dental clinic staff / volunteers as necessary in order for an efficient and well-run clinic
