Are you an Accounts Payable professional looking for your next opportunity to develop your career? Are you someone who is a self-starter and who is well organized and detail oriented? We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our close knit team based in Austin.

This role does require an in-office presence in our Austin office twice a week with the option to work from home the other three days.

Essential Duties

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships, including responding to inquiries and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Support the preparation and processing of 1099 forms, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations
• Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve accounts payable-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports related to accounts payable activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.
