Location : Gilbert and Chandler, Arizona

Starting Pay : $17.00 per hour (up to $23+ with experience and certifications)

Position Summary

We are actively seeking a competent Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will enhance the efficiency of our dental office and ensure a pleasant experience for our patients. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from patient care to administrative duties, striving for exceptional customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients to the dental office

Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort

Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed

Sterilize instruments according to regulations

Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

Undertake lab tasks as instructed

Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Provide 5-star customer service at all times

Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

Proven experience as a dental assistant, including chairside and sedation procedures

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Understanding of health & safety regulations

Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing (preferred)

Good computer skills

Excellent communication and people skills

Attention to detail

Well-organized and reliable

High school diploma; graduation from dental assistant school preferred

Additional certification or training (e.g., EFDA, coronal polishing, and X-ray certification) is an asset
