Description : Position : Loader

Reports to : Loading Supervisor

Basic summary of the job : Load orders on trucks with the use of forklifts, overhead crane, or by hand

Essential (primary) functions include but are not limited to :

• Load trucks in a safe and timely manner. Ensure that all orders are banded or wired.
• Complete first article process on all orders
• Drive tractor trailers on company property
• Load each truck in sequence of its stops for off loading at each destination
• Adhere to the Quality Policy at all times.
• Must be trained in all Quality procedures relating to specific job assignment

PHYSICAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Must be able to walk, stand, sit, and apply all motor functions in order to perform the job. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires climbing up and down ladders to get on and off trailers numerous times a night.
