Your Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in cooperation with physicians or autonomously (depending on credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments in line with your scope of practice

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or attain within 90 days)
