Quality Systems Coordinator

The Quality Systems Coordinator is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of SQF certification, Quality and Food Safety systems including the Prerequisite Programs and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities include :
- Setting standards and monitoring procedures to ensure food safety at all stages of the operation
- Maintaining and improving site SQF certification
- Leading cross-functional HACCP team
- Conducting HACCP reviews, updates, etc.
- Conducting regular meetings with the HACCP team to exchange information and discuss new procedures or equipment related to food safety
- Developing, implementing, maintaining noncompliance records procedures
- Reading, interpreting, and cross-referencing the accuracy of a large number of records which requires a broad and specialized knowledge of the content
- Creating diverse forms to document and support HACCP systems
- Keeping accurate and comprehensive records using a diverse range of documents
- Developing training and orientation materials about HACCP and related topics (GMPs, sanitation, etc.)
- Conducting formal and informal employee orientation and training in HACCP principles, CCPs, GMPs, etc.
- Preparing materials designed to assess employee levels of comprehension on food safety subjects
- Interacting with suppliers in order to communicate company standards for quality and safety of incoming products
- Making formal presentations to senior managers to describe HACCP system and related updates
- Writing comprehensive procedures for Prerequisite Programs and HACCP system
- Practicing and promoting GMPs and plant safety procedures
- Supporting the refinery's goals and values
- Professionally representing company at internal and external meetings
Work Experiences :
A minimum of two years of Quality Assurance and Quality Control experienceHACCP experienceGFSI Audit Preparation and FacilitationEducation Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; food science preferredEssential Capabilities (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Attributes) include :
