IMCS GROUP is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Twin Falls, Idaho.\nJob Description & Requirements\n

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients.\n
  • Circulate and assist in cesarean sections and manage immediate post-operative recovery in the PACU.\n
  • Assess, monitor, and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) data and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status.\n
  • Administer and titrate medications and drips including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin per hospital protocols.\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, neonatologists, and other members of the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n
  • Provide patient education and emotional support to mothers and families throughout the childbirth process.\n
  • Document all care and interventions accurately in Epic EMR.\n
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.\n
  • Participate in orientation, training, and continuous professional development activities as required.\n
  • Float between L&D and Postpartum / Mother-Baby units as needed, and occasionally assist in other hospital areas for sitter shifts.\nRequirements : \n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience (some postpartum experience required).\n
  • Must be comfortable working with high-risk obstetric patients.\n
  • Experience circulating in C-sections is required.\n
  • Must be able to titrate drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin (training available for insulin if needed).\n
  • Epic EMR experience strongly preferred (please indicate last time used).\n
  • Will not accept candidates with only Critical Access Hospital experience.\n

  • Must be flexible to float between L&D and PP / MB based on staffing and census needs.\nEducation and Certifications : \n
  • Active RN license in the state of Idaho (or compact license).\n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required.\n
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required.\n
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required.\n
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring OR NCC Certification in Fetal Monitoring – required.\n\nShift : 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM (12-hour shifts)Scheduling : Rotating schedule; every other weekend and holiday rotation required.Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient (Epic Systems Corporation)
