Lead Distribution Outfitter
The Lead Distribution Outfitter trains, maintains, and schedules department personnel by checking work for accuracy and resolving work problems. They will train associates, assign duties, and monitor activity. This role will maintain an open line of communication with leadership. The Outfitter will be cross-trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.
Essential Functions include :
- Repetitively lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ensuring associates are working in a safe manner at all times
- Ensuring housekeeping assignments are completed daily and associates maintain a clean work area throughout their day
- Ensuring all associates are fully trained on procedures and equipment and have the supplies needed to effectively complete assigned tasks
- Ensuring department processes and procedures are followed while adjusting labor needs to appropriately address work volumes and monitor consistent flow
- Ensuring associates are leaving and returning from breaks and lunch in a timely manner
- Taking daily attendance as outfitters clock in and reporting absenteeism to the Supervisor
- Actively participating in daily department start-up meetings. In the event of the supervisor's absence, conduct start-up meeting, covering daily priorities & goals, company updates, perform stretching exercises, and conclude meeting with a focus on safety
- Attending all Bass Pro provided management training classes to expand on job knowledge and growth potential
- All other duties as assigned
Experience / Qualifications :
