Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support Speech Language Pathologists in providing speech and language services to K12 students in the North Coast Area, Oregon. The SLPA will assist with clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities while working within the scope of responsibilities and plan of care assigned by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist and / or physician.
Position Overview :
- Location : North Coast Area, Oregon
- Start Date : January 5, 2026
- Duration : 6 months (through end of school year)
- Schedule : MondayFriday
- Hours : 37.5 hours / week (30-minute unpaid lunch break for shifts over 6 hours / day)
- Modality : In-person only
- Pay : $42$45 / hour
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct service to students on SLPs' caseloadAssist students with speech-related therapy and AAC devicesFollow documented therapy plans and instructional strategies developed by the supervising SLP in accordance with IEP / IFSP documentationCollect and tally data during intervention sessions as directed by the SLPPrepare materials and assist with clerical duties as specified by the supervising SLPCollaborate with Speech Pathologists, Related Services staff, and administrators to achieve student goalsMinimum Requirements :
Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology / communication disordersMinimum of 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience (as required by state / contract)Current certification / licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in OregonActive OR SLPA license (verification site : Oregon Board of Examiners)One year of prior professional SLPA experience preferredPrevious experience working with K12 students in a school setting highly preferredCompliance with all relevant professional standards of practiceTB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)Current health certificate (per contract / state regulation)Must meet all federal, state, and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageContact for Details & Submission :
