What You'll Do :
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Conduct tax projections and support compliance needs.
- Oversee or review bookkeeping work completed by team members or clients.
- Ensure accurate reconciliations for bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
- Support cleanup and onboarding for new accounting clients.
- Prepare and file or review sales tax, payroll tax, and 1099 filings.
- Collaborate with team members to improve systems and client experience.
What You Need to Succeed :
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.3+ years of experience in tax preparation and review, ideally within a public accounting or small firm setting.Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and professional tax software (UltraTax preferred; experience with Drake, Lacerte, ProSeries, or similar transferable).Solid understanding of bookkeeping and small business accounting principles.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to thrive under seasonal deadlines and shifting workloads.A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and commitment to quality work.EA or CPA credentials are preferred, but not required, experience and skill matter most.What We Offer :
