We are seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our Assertive Community Treatment team in Allentown. The Mental Health Specialist, as part of the ACT multidisciplinary team, has the responsibility to support the rehabilitation and treatment of adults living in the community. Provides service coordination (case management) for assigned groups of clients, including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team; Provides direct clinical services. Coordinates with outside inpatient services to detoxify clients and establish linkage to outpatient treatment self-help programs, outpatient services, and residential facilities. Conducts comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history.

Qualifications :
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling or Education and 2-3 years of mental health,
forensic field, or direct care experience
mental illness and respect for client rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential.
