Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facility. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing best practices and code standards.
• Prioritize and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing facility equipment.
• Identify mechanical / electrical defects and determine the root cause of failure.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs for both direct and alternating current systems.
• Collaborate effectively with others to complete projects.
• Complete installation and fabrication projects independently or with a small team.
• Utilize manuals and other resources to research and locate equipment and parts to support production needs.
• Request parts and service as needed.
• Operate power and hand tools, metal fabrication equipment, forklift, welder, cutting torch, and multimeter.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use them carefully as instructed.
• Utilize Maintenance Management software efficiently.
• Strive to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and reuse resources when practical.
• Work safely at all times, following safety rules and policies, and participate in scheduled training.
• Report injuries and near misses promptly in the required detailed format and propose corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $65000.00 / yr.
