Position Summary :

Forklifts promote our Built on Safety mindset while efficiently moving materials needed for production to required locations. Forklifts will move up to two units of lumber or completed trusses at a time to the designated areas. An ideal Forklift Driver will be able to safely work in tight areas to ensure the timely movement of product.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Operates Forklift safely for production including the loading and unloading of materials and finished products
• Coordinates with production management for the movement of products
• Maintains logs and safety checks
• Works with production management to identify changes to processes and procedures, as appropriate
• Understands required grade / quality and inspects finished products for quality standards
• Understands, observes and promotes all safety policies and procedures
• Operates additional equipment related to production
• May assist in training and cross training
• Reports production accurately through utilized programs
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
