BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Call Center Agent in Phoenix, AZ 85007

Job Title : Call Center Representative

Location : Remote (Must reside within 1 hour of Phoenix or Tucson, AZ)

Duration : 6 Months (Potential for permanent employment)

Pay Rate : $20 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 45 AM–5 : 15 PM (Flexible scheduling required)

Training : 3 weeks, 8 : 30 AM–5 : 00 PM (Mandatory attendance)

Start Date : ASAP

Interview : Remote Position

Position Summary :

We are currently hiring customer-focused and dependable individuals for a fully remote Call Center Representative role. In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for taxpayers, handling inbound calls related to tax compliance, account information, and general inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume call center and strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Answer inbound calls professionally and efficiently
  • Resolve Tier 1-level taxpayer inquiries
  • Review and update account information
  • Educate callers on tax policies and online tools
  • Submit payment arrangement requests
  • Log all interactions accurately in internal systems
  • Participate in team engagement and collaboration activities
  • Meet established performance metrics

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 1 year of recent call center experience (non-technical support)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work remotely with a hardwired internet connection and transport provided equipment
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Background in banking, finance, or insurance
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Must attend in-person orientation on Day 1
  • Equipment will be provided; candidates must transport it home
  • Must pass background checks, fingerprinting, and Arizona tax compliance review
