Job descriptionJob Summary : Key Responsibilities : Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established protocols. Set up and adjust machinery as needed to meet production specifications. Inspect products for quality assurance and maintain high standards of production. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and quality issues. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on new production processes and equipment. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and suggesting enhancements. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Familiarity with operating machinery and understanding production workflows. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed. Ability to operate and use efficiently computerized production systems (i.e. Plant Work Flow, MRP and Inventory Management systems) (preferred) Behavioral Competencies Problem Solving Ownership and Issue Resolution Self-Responsibility Reliable and Dependable Job Engagement Adaptability Commitment to Teamwork Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required. Capability to stand for extended periods and work in varying conditions (e.g., noise, temperature). Capability to work 12-hour shifts, days, nights, rotations, and overtime.
