Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Shift : 2nd Shift, Full-time, 40 hours / week

Compensation : $26.10 - $39.15 per hour

Major Responsibilities :

• Create a clean and safe environment conducive to optimal patient care by utilizing aseptic surgical techniques.
• Assist with the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures to ensure an effective workflow during surgeries.
• Maintain the highest standards of environmental disinfection and safety throughout the operating room.
• Function as a Second Assistant during surgeries as needed, exhibiting teamwork and clear communication.
• Monitor and report any equipment or supply issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Transport patients and equipment, leveraging proper techniques for safety and efficiency.
• Ensure the completeness of specialty carts and equipment through regular checks and maintenance.
• Adapt to the varying needs of patients while demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care requirements.
