Youth Peer Advocate
Job Summary
The Youth Peer Advocate (YPA) will provide individualized peer support services to young people navigating mental health, substance use, or related challenges. Using your lived experience, you will help youth build self-advocacy skills, strengthen coping strategies, and connect to community-based resources. You will serve as a role model by promoting recovery, resilience, and hope, while fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide peer support with professionalism and empathy.
Knowledge of community resources and support networks.
Commitment to recovery-oriented values and advocacy.
Must be between ages of 18-30 to work with Youth mentees
