Outpatient Counselor (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC) Requirements

• Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of masters degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field with one (1) year counseling experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment preferred.
• Bachelors degree in human service or behavioral healthcare field with two (2) years' experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment required.
• Valid State of Ohio LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW licensure with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment, or equivalent required.

The Outpatient Counselor will be responsible for substance use and mental health counseling, and treatment planning for youth, adults and families who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment in the outpatient setting.
