Shop Supervisor 2nd Shift

What Youll Do :

• Department Oversight : Manage day-to-day operations of the department ensuring efficient workflow adherence to safety protocols and compliance with time-keeping and performance management procedures.
• Employee Management : Oversee employee performance provide coaching and feedback and conduct performance evaluations to support team development and productivity.
• Training & Development : Assist with onboarding and training of new employees as well as provide ongoing education and skill development for the team.
• Order Management : Expedite and prioritize shop orders through the department to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Cross-Department Coordination : Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes.
• Workplace Safety & Maintenance : Ensure the team maintains machines and work areas in a clean safe and organized manner addressing safety concerns promptly.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Problem-Solving : Address and resolve production or personnel issues promptly to avoid disruptions to operations.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies quality standards and industry regulations.
