DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will collaborate with various disciplines across the center to develop and deliver therapeutic programs, oversee equipment maintenance, and support all activity services, including programs and special events. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating therapeutic activities, including programmatic and vocational services for residents. Key responsibilities include leading recreational services such as club activities, community outings, vacations, special events, serving as a liaison for Special Olympics, managing the game room, and facilitating employment-related activities. You will play an active role in developing individual support plans for residents and assist in creating or delivering training related to these services. Additionally, you will also work closely with other Therapeutic Activities Workers to ensure support for all therapeutic activities and provide lead worker coverage as needed.
