Shifts will include nights, 8 and 12-hour rotations, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , providing care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .High volume of cervical and spinal surgery cases, along with medical overflow patients.Be part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , where you’ll work with the latest neurosurgical techniques and advanced care modalities.

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan interventions, and evaluate care effectively.Anticipate significant changes in patient condition and act promptly, collaborating with the healthcare team as necessary.Promote patient safety by identifying risks and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.Coordinate discharge planning with a focus on continuity of care.Evaluate outcomes continually and engage in process improvement initiatives.Demonstrate effective communication and leadership within the care team.Participate actively in the assessment and improvement of the department’s functions and patient experience.Maintain a commitment to professional development through educational opportunities.Provide age-appropriate care based on developmental principles and individual needs.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Active Registered Nurse license for the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
