Responsibilities to include :
- Working on and leading a design team from initial studies and design through construction management projects.
- Working throughout the municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater industry.
- Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of junior and mid-level engineers.
- Be responsible for design tasks commensurate with experience
- On multiple concurrent projects, serve as the main point of contact for the client, contractors, and staff
- Work with the team in making decisions regarding technical approaches, cost control, schedule control, change management, risk and claims management, and project performance.
- Actively manage and report on the status of the project schedule and budget.
- Lead project meetings with client and stakeholders.
- Develop, review, and approve written deliverables.
- Position will lead to increasing levels of client development and management, supported by other local, regional and corporate staff.

Minimum professional qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's Degree in civil / environmental engineering or a related fieldProficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)Strong organizational and proven problem-solving skillsPE license or the ability to obtain one within six monthsDesired experience is 10-15 years in the water fieldPreferred professional qualifications :Master's Degree in environmental engineeringBackground in business developmentSignificant experience with public utilities
