The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is seeking a full time Community Participation Manager in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve meaningful community involvement and personal growth. This position oversees program activities, supervises staff, and ensures services align with each participant's goals and best interests.

Participant Support

Plan and implement community experiences that align with each person's Individual Support Plan (ISP).

Introduce participants to community resources and foster connections that encourage employment, inclusion, and engagement.

Ensure participant safety, including appropriate supervision and adherence to fire and safety regulations.

Step in to perform the duties of a Community Participation Instructor as needed.

Program Oversight

Establish and maintain community partnerships; schedule and coordinate regular participation opportunities.

Monitor service quality, offer feedback, and recommend improvements.

Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and state regulations.

Maintain open, collaborative communication with participants, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.

Attend meetings and trainings as required.

Complete documentation, data entry, and reporting related to assigned duties.

Operate program and personal vehicles as needed to support participant activities.

Provide first aid or CPR in emergencies, as trained.

Supervisory Duties

Oversee, hire, train, and evaluate staff.

Provide coaching, support, and professional development opportunities.

Monitor performance and ensure individual and program objectives are met

Qualifications :

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required. Experience working with people who have intellectual disabilities, supervisory experience, and computer literacy are required. Knowledge of the intellectual disabilities service system, licensed adult programs, and community resources are helpful. Must possess and maintain a valid, current driver's license and comply with CPARC driving policy.
