We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager for the Emergency Room in Kansas City, MO. This role provides the opportunity to lead a Level I Trauma Center within a busy, high-acuity emergency department. As ER Nurse Manager, you will oversee patient care delivery, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Responsibilities :
- Provide operational and clinical leadership for the emergency department.
- Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Manage resources responsibly while supporting organizational goals.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, including performance evaluations and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
Qualifications :
Current RN license in Missouri or Compact state.Minimum 2 years of recent acute care emergency department management experience.BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross).ENPC or PALS certification at hire.TNCC or ATCN certification within 1 year of hire.Preferred :
National specialty certification in emergency nursing or leadership.Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.Compensation & Benefits :
