Location : Seymour, Indiana (47274) – Indiana healthcare jobs

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 25 / 2025 – End : 2 / 24 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 34.5 hours / week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820 - $1950

Unit : Adult Medical / Surgical & Pediatrics (2N / 3N)

Bed Size : 2N : 23 surgical beds; 3N : 19 adult beds, 5 pediatric beds

Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 5, supported by LPNs and CNAs

Orientation : Comprehensive unit orientation with preceptor support

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical Nursing experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Pediatric nursing experience required

Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license

American Heart Association BLS certification required

ACLS certification preferred

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered nursing care to adult medical, surgical, and pediatric patients

Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IVs and blood transfusions

Operate clinical equipment : telemetry, bladder scanners, vein viewers; utilize Meditech charting system

Collaborate with LPNs and CNAs for daily patient care and mobility support

Float between adult medical and surgical units as needed

Maintain professional appearance (any color scrubs, closed-toe shoes, long hair pulled back)

Work two out of three major holidays : Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve
