Network Engineer- Salisbury

1) Core Route Switch 4-5 Years plus Cisco CCNA (nice to have)

2) Data Center Network Equipment- Understands how to rack stack Network equipment

2) Ability to create documentation and auditing of Network Data Center technology

• Job Description

TEKsystems Fortune 500 Grocer customer is in need of a Cisco Network Engineer with that can join their team. This Network and Data center environment is currently managed and maintained by a 3rd party Services provider. Customer heads up Design and high level engineering while the partner handles hands on admin and engineering work. This specific role is designed for a strong Network engineer with data center experience whom can provide oversight of the partner, create network documentation, perform audits of their work all related to core route switch, protocols, correct rack and stack, etc. This Network organization is very large and use their full time employees and consultants to act as SME's over their partner but occasionally need to be hands on as well. This specific role requires a consultant whom can take extreme initiative and be flexible with their schedule. It will be a hybrid role with extreme flexibility but will also need someone who can be onsite at data centers perhaps even same day.

This organization has several major Network initiatives that this person may be able to influence in the future as well with SDwan, DataCenter Architecture, Palo Ato Firewall and more.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00 / hr.
