An international retail technology company with established success in the UK, Spain, and Portugal is expanding into the U.S. market for the first time. We're looking for BD representatives to launch field sales operations in New York and help introduce a proven SaaS solution to local retailers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, building relationships, and engaging directly with small business owners. You’ll be the face of the brand in the U.S. and play a key role in shaping how the sales strategy develops locally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct walk-in B2B sales visits to small retail shops, bodegas, and convenience stores across New York.
  • Present and demonstrate the company’s retail technology solution, explaining its value and functionality.
  • Handle all communication via cell phone (no laptop or additional equipment required).
  • Assist retailers with basic setup or account activation as needed.
  • Collaborate with a visiting sales trainer from Portugal and local leadership to refine territory mapping and outreach strategy.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to help guide the company’s U.S. expansion efforts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in outside or B2B sales , ideally targeting small or independent businesses is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident engaging store owners directly.
  • Tech-comfortable and able to learn new digital tools or SaaS platforms quickly.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently without office supervision.
  • Flexible with scheduling to align with retailer operating hours.
  • Professional, polished, and personable—comfortable representing a modern, energetic brand (no suits required; neat casual dress preferred).
  • Additional Details

  • Initial training will be provided by the company’s international sales team.
  • This is a fast-fill, long-term temporary role with potential for extension or ongoing work as the U.S. market develops.
